Photographs, permission and honesty
A portfolio helps clients trust you, but it has to be honest. New fitters can start building one without any shortcuts.
Only show results you did yourself. Photographs taken from other people’s pages are not yours to use, and clients notice.
Ask every client before you photograph them. Make it clear where the picture will be shown, and respect a no.
Before and after photographs are useful, but so are close-ups of the join and the finished back view. Take them in the same light each time.
Say honestly how long you have been working. Clients value truthfulness more than a long list of claims.
Many people begin with friends and family under supervision, then widen out. If you are thinking about training in Newcastle, ask which supervised practice is included.
Message the provider to ask for the next Newcastle date, what is in the starter kit and how to get there.
